Dear MOC attendee;

The Midwest Optical Conference had its first conference in the fall of 1989. Twenty-two years later the goals and the quality of the conference has not changed, only occasionally the location.

As the years have passed the MOC board members have endured many challenging obstacles, from the board member make-up, costs of conference and other challenges the board endures each year.

Due to declining attendance and vendor sponsorship over the past couple of years the MOC board voted to eliminate any future conferences.

For those that that attended each year or when you could, we thank you very much. We hope you found the conference to be very rewarding from an educational and networking experience.

From a personal note I want to thank Melinda Hunter, Aila Lohten and Rhynonda Creger for all of the help they have provided over the years, what a wonderful group of optical professionals.

Who knows maybe our paths will cross in the future.
